Enlightenment
You’re so calm and hesitant
It seems so simple, it was so simple,
I thought at the age of 5
I try to scratch you above your tail,
It makes me feel so fine
You hand your paw to me and I hand mine
You bark the most at 8:30 in the morning
It slows down
Some days I enjoy the barking
The barking shapes me as a person
But who will bark at me,
At the age of 40?
